Keeping your data safe and secure is our top priority. This Privacy Notice sets out the basis by which we collect, use and disclose your personal data as well as your rights in respect of such personal data.
As part of the application process we may ask you to provide us with certain identifiable information that can be used to contact or identity you (“personal data”). Our main reasons for collecting your personal information are to support your application to Felinesoft, to allow us to contact you in regards to your application, future potential roles and to comply with our own legal obligations.
We can only use your personal data if we have a proper reason for doing so. We have concluded that our "legal basis" for handling your personal data for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice are as follows:
- our use of your personal data is necessary prior to entering into a contract with you (that is prior to offering you a job with Felinesoft Ltd),
- our use of your personal data is necessary for complying with our legal obligations, or
- where our use of your personal data is neither necessary to take steps to enter into a contract with you, or to comply with our legal obligations, that use is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests (for example, to maintain adequate applicant records).
Your personal data will be stored on our secure internal Applicant Tracking System. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including password and limited system access, to protect your personal information and privacy, and review these regularly. Your data will be held for a maximum of 12 months from the date of your application, at around 11 months we will contact you to establish if you wish for us to update and retain your information for a further 12 months (for current and future vacancies) or if you wish to use your right to be forgotten. If we cannot make contact with you, we will delete your information from our system.
Your personal data may be shared with our employees as part of the recruitment process. Your personal data will not be shared with third parties.
You have a number of rights with regard to your personal data. You are entitled to see copies of all personal data held by us and to amend, correct or delete such data. You can also limit, restrict or object to the processing of your data. You can request a copy of the information we hold about you at any time, you can also raise any objections or exercise any of your rights, by emailing email@example.com
When you get in touch, we will come back to you as soon as possible and where possible within one month. If your request is more complicated, it may take a little longer to come back to you but we will come back to you within two months of your request. We may also ask you to verify your identity before we provide any information to you. There is no charge for a request for applicants.
