The Challenge

8Build are a fit out and construction company, working in the Construction Industry as a main contractor. They offer bespoke solutions and deliver high quality fit out, refurbishment and new build projects for their clients, who span a range of sectors. Their UK office is based in London, and the majority of their work is around the Greater London Area, and the Home Counties. Alongside this, they also have an overseas office in Singapore.

They came to Felinesoft looking for a solution to help them manage their clients, and automate their opportunity process.

Our Solution

Our CRM team set to work creating a solution which would manage their clients through the opportunity process, all the way to project completion.  8Build's opportunity process included many different pipeline stages including expression of interest, prequalification of opportunity and final proposal.

All processes within the opportunities were automated in Dynamics CRM, enabling the company to manage teams, both external and internal, as well as outgoing tenders. A Sharepoint solution ran alongside the CRM which allowed for document storage such as tenders and invoices. A portal was also created to allow suppliers a platform to upload tender documents and receive any documents uploaded by 8Build e.g. Invoices, site images.

The Results

Our solution meant that every part of the process was automated, and projects could be completed automatically through the CRM. 8Build had never had a system like this in place before, and this has streamlined their workload significantly, ensuring every step is managed correctly, and all information is stored and readily available whenever needed.
